Mortgage Checklist

The following information is usually required during the loan process:

  • Your Social Security Number
  • Current pay stubs and W-2 Form for the most recent two years or, if self employed, your signed business tax returns for the most recent two years
  • Signed individual federal tax returns for the most recent two years
  • Award letter or 1099 convering the most recent two years for retirement, social security, pension, or commission
  • Bank statements for the past two months
  • Investment account statements for the past two months
  • Life insurance policy
  • Retirement account statements for the past two months
  • Make and model of vehicles you own and their resale value
  • Credit card account information
  • Auto loan account information
  • Personal loan account information
  • Recorded deed(s) for property being used as collateral
  • Mobile home title (if applicable)

If you currently own Real Estate:

  • Mortgage account information
  • Home insurance policy information
  • Home equity account information (if applicable)
